The Greatest test to be true choreographer:-. given a task to choreograph a whole set of song.. it may be of any genre. and to present it in a specific time knowing the fact the choreographer has to impress both the judge and the crowed... Thats the quality lacking in Many Dancers in Nagaland... they changes Songs/dempo/genre/ every 30 seconds.. which many a times the choreography becomes too Dramatic and boring. Choosing just one sing is very tough and almost impossible for many Dancers... I tell you ... if your well known with fusion dance.. its a piece of cake ;) A good Choreographers mind is like a poet. a magician a painter always thinking to amuse the onlooker with creativity synchronization expression and Usage of Beats. Lyrical is old school incorporated with fast steps can work well with lyrical.. (watch Loren and co. Neyos mad.. how they can take that slow lyrics and turn into masterpiece) I see most Naga crews use the 3 beats choreo.. its outdated..seriously... Dupstep; please For Godsake why are you people cheating from Poreotix .. their videos got million views and even non dancers are familiar with it.. Bboy routine: its not only Flips and PM that counts.. try top rocking together that will look better.. one thing that we Nagas lacks is Expression... hopelessness take over all the dancers while on the stage.. tense face,moody and scared faces while doing routines..look at those Indian back dancers .. they are dancing away to glory as if they are the hero. lastly, ... Being a dancer why do you Drink and smoke? your hurting yourself badly especially if your a bboy.
