The Grosse Pointe Public Schools is looking for some community members including parents, teachers and others to serve on new committees. Committees for K-12 Science, Social Studies, Library/Media and Secondary Business Review have been created. Monthly meetings are anticipated, but the time commitment will vary, according to district information. Anyone wanting to serve on these committees can submit a resume and letter of interest specifying the committee they are interested in. Application materials should be sent to: Maureen Bur and Aaron Johnson, Office of Curriculum, Assessment, Instruction and Technology, 389 St. Clair Ave., Grosse Pointe, MI 48230. The application deadline is Sept. 13.
