Planet, the 2nd top team in the league is known for their fighting qualities untill the last ball is bowled. The mental strength and ability of the players got them the victory and the berth in semi finals. Smart Choice Delaware has been consistent for that last few game. Was in a must win position to qualify and have not turned back ever since raising the bar slowly and steadily. Smart Choice Delaware beat LVCC, the league topper, in the quarter final game to make to the Semi Final for the first time. The victory against LVCC displays the discipline, commitment and perseverance as a team. Planets is a complete team of batsmen, all-rounders, and bowlers alike. Planets have been very consistent this year by restricting teams to less than 150 and chasing them comfortably. On the other hand, Delaware relies on its strong batting to win games. They have been consistently scoring 200+ runs in the last few games. However, in their last encounter, Planets won the game authoritatively by scoring 200+, and restricting Delaware to 50 runs. That was at Planets ground, in their home conditions. But now, Planets will be playing in conditions that favor Delaware the most. They are used to this pitch more than Planets, and given their batting prowess, runs will flow, and it will be a high-scoring encounter. Also, Delaware had to beat Prior in pre-quarters, and LVCC in quarters to get here. Planets on the other hand had a bye-week in pre-quarters, and beat Titans in quarters. So, it looks like Delaware team is much prepared for this game than Planets. It might still be Delaware game to lose given the conditions and experience in playoffs. Toss might not be crucial to either team. Delaware likes to set big target batting first, and Planets would want to restrict Delaware to less than 150, and chase it comfortable.
