The Hallmark of the True Church is Disciple-making (Matthew 28: 19-20) Pointing people to Jesus should be our priority. There are two kinds of people: Those who know the Lord and those who don’t. And there are 2 destinations: heaven and hell - both are eternal and permanent. Evangelism can seem like a scary thing. We just need to be ourselves as followers of Jesus and be a witness for Him by our actions. He empowers us to let people know that God loves them. Suggested application: -- Recognize that you are being influenced all the time, and make Jesus your greatest influence. -- Consider how you can influence others toward Jesus. -- The most loving thing you can do for anyone is to help them know Jesus. -- Pray for someone to invest in.
