The Hammer Museum and I would like to thank our intern, Taylor Wilson-Primm for all the great work she has done for us this season. Taylor left us on Saturday to return home to Tennessee and start her fall semester at UT-Martin. We were very lucky to have her enthusiasm and energy here, helping to make the museum a great experience for all our visitors. Thanks, Taylor, and have fun and interesting new school semester! As Taylor leaves, I feel it is a good idea to introduce myself as the intern who will be finishing out the 2013 season at the Hammer Museum. My name is Michelle Nash and I have been here since the beginning of the season but will now be the sole intern whose posts you will see here. I am from Wisconsin and have an MA from UW-Milwaukee in Public History and Museum Studies. This is my first visit to Alaska though I have traveled a lot to work in different museums. I look forward to finishing out the season and want to thank Taylor again for all her hard work.
