The Happy Travelers have just returned home from a 4 day 3 night trip to Tunica. Let me begin by saying that we had a small group this year and since we all wanted to go so bad, we hooked up with a group called PAYLESS TOURS. They were offering 3 nights at the Gold Strike, $95 in free play, 7 meals but OMG, the bus we traveled on was horrid. Our Happy Travelers would not have boarded it. It was old, uncomfortable, no shocks - not up to Happy Travelers standards or comfort. We are use to a beautiful Bloomington Shuttle Bus, a comfort coach. Evidently this was just transportation but I would not subject my Happy Travelers to such a condition. We got there, enjoyed our stay thoroughly, and go home. Thanks to Maxine, Catherine, Karen, Joyce, Frances, Betty, Mary, Nellie, Delores and David for making the trip with me. We joined about 42 strangers and we just wonder if they dont expect more? Maybe we are just spoiled. Happy Travelers wont be doing that again unless we can take our own coach. We are home safe and we all came home with a little jingle in our purse!
