The Harvest Jam festival was one of our favorites!!! So many great memories made again :) It was fun, but challenging being a judge for the Race for a Place band contest. So many good bands!!! Congrats to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. The Porcupine Creek Band, The No Mans String Band and Pushing Chain. We had a great time with the Darrell Webb Band. Chuck especially had fun jamming with the boys. What a great group of guys! You can still grab the new album online. It is AWESOME!!! I got to listen to it today after dropping the guys off at the airport :) Some favorite moments: *** Playing music with Hayley Scott we just dont get to do that enough. *** Watching Kaysie Scott have fun running around being a crazy fun teenager! Love you girls. *** Judging the band contest *** Meeting Darrell Webb and the guys in the band. Some of them loved the Mall of America! lol *** Watching Chuck play fiddle with the boys from Darrell Webb band Saturday night. *** Playing the cocktail hour with No Grass Limit Clint BirtzerA Graham Sones Mike Hedding Vaughn Asselstine Chuck and Brady Kim Hanson Curtis-Monson and Mike Munson. Gentle River just saying!!! *** Radio Interview with Denny and Tom from Inside Bluegrass *** Jamming at Kips with Brady Perl, Tom Peschges and Chuck Millar *** Lunch with Sophie Galep Martha Galep, Chuck and the Girls. *** Jamming with Bob Doe Chris Boone Leif Rhodes Brent Fuqua *** ohhhhh the food at the banquet was pretty darn good...yum!!! *** and the list goes on and on.
