The Heart of Islam: Week 26/25/13 Preparation for Ramadan of 2013 InshaAllah: DAY 1: Tuesday June 25 of 2013 1-Print out the schedule of Week 2 2-Memorize the Dhikr/Duaa of the day. 3-Accomplish My Quran Duty for Today. 4-Say Astaghfiru Llah (80 and up) 5-Check my list DAY 2: Wednesday June 26 of 2013 1-Memorize the Dhikr/duaa of the day. 2-Accomplish My Quran Duty for Today. 3-Pray my 5 prayers of the day on Time. 4- Say Astaghfiru Llah (80 and up) 5-Offer help to Your mom (watch a sibling, empty dishwasher, vaccum, laundry…) 6- Spot an anger moment: hold yourself, breath, say a’oothu billah, make wuduu to get rid of this anger, distract yourself in something else, come back again to try to solve the problem that caused this anger situation. InshaAllah everything has a solution when we depend on Allah and when we use our reason calmly. Day 3: Thursday June 27 of 2013: Fajr time is at 4:19am.(San Jose Time) 1- Practice for Suhur: Set your alarm at 4:05am, Say the dhikr of waking up, make wuduu and pray 2 rakaa for Qiyaam, then pray Fajrn 2-Accomplish My Quran Duty for today. 3-Pray the 4 left prayers on time. 4-Memorize the Dhikr/Duaa of the Day 5- Fast for 4 hours in a row. YOU may choose your hours. 6- Say Istighfaar. 7- Anger Management: do like the previous day. 8- Offer help to your mom and to a family member. Day 4: Friday June 28 of 2013: 1-Pray all 5 prayers on time. 2-Accomplish My Quran Duty for today. 3-Review All the previous Duaa and Dhikr you have learned so far. 4- Fast for 4 hours that you pick. 5- Say Astaghfiru Llah as many times as you want, but more than 50 times. 6- Practice for Taraweeh: Pray 2 rakaa after IshaAa Prayer 7- Anger Management: follow the steps in previous days. 8- Offer help (follow steps in previous days) Day 5: Saturday June 29 of 2013: 1- Don’t forget to pray all prayers on time where ever you were. If your parents forgot to do it on time, you remind them. 2- Dhikr/Duaa of the Day 3- Remember to say Astaghfiru Llah early in the morning and before you go to be. 4- Offer help 5- Anger Management Day 6: Sunday June 30 of 2013 ( Same as Sturday) 1- Don’t forget to pray all prayers on time where ever you were. If your parents forgot to do it on time, you remind them. 2- Dhikr/Duaa of the Day 3- Remember to say Astaghfiru Llah early in the morning and before you go to be. 4-Anger Mangement 5- Offer help 6- Taraweeh Practice: Pray 2 extra Rakaa after Ishaa Prayer Week 2 Self Evalulation: (Be Honest) How many dhikr and duaa did I memorize so far? How many times did I do Qiyam out of 1? Did I commit to saying Istighfaar Daily?j Did I commit to my Generous Morals by offering help? Did I commit to my anger management attitude?
