The History of the Politics of Dintsho and Barataphathi. Part 2 Dear Reader, “We was not invited” – Mmegi (20/01/2015) Kana this morning I sent an article that I labeled as the Final from the Mmegi series. Please join me in thanking Mmegi for continuing to supply me with material with which to educate Batswana. I could be sitting at masimo or at the farm, one thing I am sure of is that my sources make it a priority that I get my working material effortlessly. As always, my sources of information are known to everybody. Their sources are Moono. I can now happily join them in saying viva Moono viva!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember that Metlhaetsile Leepile told me, “We know our People”. It is obvious, I am not one of you. Note that the above is not a heading but a Quote. Like many other things, the person who uttered those words is only known by the Babegadikgang Party under the auspices of the Umbrella. VERY IMPORTANT: Let us for now forget about this stupid heading. I will reveal at the end whose attention it was meant to draw and why. Now let’s focus on the body of the story. Turn to page 3 – Paragraph 2 BCP Secretary General Dr Kesitegile Gobotswang told Mmegi Yesterday they felt their President Dumelang Saleshando, Should have been officialy invited, as merafhe’s was a State Funeral. It was a State Funeral. Usually an invitation is extended to various individuals or organizations like partys to attend a State funeral. This is what we believe should have been done by the Government. There is a protocol that has to be followed at a State funeral and we should have been invited so that we attend the funeral knowing the protocol,” he said. “Our President also had engagements and maybe he would have delegated someone to attend the funeral on his behalf if he was invited,” Note that all text in inverted commas is what according to Babegadikgang Party under the auspices of the Umbrella is what Cde Gobotswang is supposed to have uttered verbatrim. Remember when I told you that the media can inform and also misinform deliberately to meet their own ends, MOONO!!! “We know our People” Does the heading match Cde Gobotswang’s words? Now let’s go to the cover picture. Remember that the new Moono is to bring down Cde Saleshando. Pay attention to the subtle message. What is BCP President doing on your cover under words that he did not utter? And yet, your deceitful selves keep telling Batswana that you want him to join you under the Umbrella Temporary Platform. Now let’s go to the question of invitations. The following are the words of Dr Jeff Ramsay according to Babegadikgang Party under the auspices of the Umbrella: “Those who came to the funeral came on their own. Even those who were coming outside. For some diplomats we did some arrangements for them to go to the funeral but we did not invite them. It is not Setswana custom for someone to be invited to a funeral,” explained Ramsay. He further explained the Government’s role at the funeral was to provide logistics. Further to this in Setswana custom, those who would not have been able to attend are perceived to have been there in spirit. Batswana are a spiritual nation. Motho fa a sa kgona go tla lesong, ga a kgokgontshiwe. Moo go kgonwa ke MOONO fela. Remember that the advert about the funeral programme for the General was carried by the papers belonging to the Babegadikgang Party under the auspices of the Umbrella, MOONO!!!!! How would BCP be expected to attend this funeral when just a few months back a representative of the President of the Republic and the President of the Botswana Congress Party was unashamedly thrown out from the memorial service of Sir G? had that not happened, as it usually happens, parties and individuals would have felt free to attend. Why should the leadership of the BCP be singled out when even international representatives who have dealings with Government failed to attend and even some of the BDP members? Why is Honourable Leader of the Opposition of the Republic, being defended? Why is the UDC being defended, where were the other Presidents, Molapisi and Honourable Gaolathe? These are the questions that the media should have asked. Of course they would not ask. MOONO! Is the reason. Now let us go back to the heading. Kana ko MOONONG Tautona wa bone a re Batswana ga baa rutega e bile ga ba kake ba rutega (uneducated and untrainable). Kana o kile a ba a re batlhatlhelela dithuto tsa University ya Botswana ga baa rutega. Jaanong betsho, rona re tseela gore setlhogo se se siame ka se kwadilwe ke batho ba MOONO. A ke sone se moeteledipele wa Moono a neng a se raya fa a ne a re batho ba ba mo setseng morago ga baa rutega. Ke raya jaana ka ene sekgowa sa gagwe ga se se.
