The Holiday That Satan Has Replaced Thanksgiving With...... Many decades ago, Thanksgiving was a separate holiday from Christmas. Thanksgiving used to be a holiday when families came together. Two or three generations would be under one roof and whether true born again Christians or not, most everyone gave thought to their blessings, and had thoughts of God. The entire reason for the holiday is to set aside a day for the entire Nation of America to give Praise and thankfulness to their God for His blessings to our Nation and on down to each family and person. A day when Hallowed be they Name..... went up to Heaven from all around America. Unfortunately, as far as our Nation as a whole, the holiday we call Thanksgiving no longer exists. The DisneyXD station calls it Pranksgiving. It shows some cant even say Thanksgiving. The word is bitter on their tongues I remember when we thought how crazy it was when stores opened at 5:00 a.m. on Friday morning. Since God has been kicked out of our schools, government, and everything to do with our Nation as a whole, God has pulled back as America has told Him to. We have a new holiday to replace it. Its called BLACK FRIDAY. This year has been, by far, the worst Thanksgiving season in our Country I have ever seen. All I have heard is pre-BLACK FRIDAY sale and pre-pre-BLACK FRIDAY sale! It appeals to the greed of people and the sense of I want. I want It also is the greediness of the store businesses that want the money of the shoppers.They dont care if the shoppers max out all of their credit cards and then have to tighten their belts so tight to pay their bills each month, they can hardly afford their groceries. Never mind that Christmas is coming. Store businesses have confessed that its BLACK FRIDAY that is what makes or breaks them each year. BLACK FRIDAY is the new holiday that satan has replaced Thanksgiving with. Oh, they will go through the motions of having parades which they never show anymore. They show worldly performers instead. Some singing songs with words of abomination to God. But they will not be thankful to God who has blessed them with all they have. They will not look to their Creator, the Great I AM, and give Him thanks and praise! They will give themselves all the credit. Im not saying its wrong for true Believers to take advantage of these good sales when the time is appropriate. Im saying to keep your priorities straight and dont let satan lull you to sleep with these enticing sales and the comforts they surround you with. Remember your first love and who gets all of the glory! The day of Thanksgiving should be kept holy as a day that belongs to God. Be of good cheer brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. We thank God everyday for His blessings to us and praise Him, but on Thanksgiving Day we come together with our families whether big or little. We will give a special time of praise and thankfulness to God on this holy and special day, and remember all the blessings that He has bestowed upon us. Happy Thanksgiving!
