The Holy Father Pope Francis just now has arrived in Rome, Italy from the successful apostolic and pastoral visit from the Philippines which started last Thursday January 15-19, 2015. It was a very successful visit of a pontiff since Pope St. John Paul II last visit in January 15, 1995 in the World Youth days in Manila with a 5 million people attended while yesterdays attendance was estimated around 6-7 million people despite of the rains and the bad weather. We have the reason to thank the Lord for the visit of his holiness the heavens was opened again the graces from above the rains that symbolize the blessings showered to all the Filipinos and finally we have to thank also Pope Francis for the words of faith, hope and love strengthening our belief in God at the same time giving us the possibility to do the acts of mercy and compassion which is the theme of this Year of the Poor in the whole of the Catholic Church throughout the world!
