The Holy Spirit reproves sinner of SIN! They are under a penalty and their condemnation is presented through their reproof. If a sinner does not repent of sin, then pray tell, of what is it which they must repent? If it is unbelief, is that not a sin? Yes, it is; and, thus, they repent of sin! Paradox anyone?! John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. John 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Ephesians 5:11, 13 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. 2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
