The Holy Trinity July 30, 2013 at 11:39pm The trinity is the father, son and spirit . The main confusion concerning this concept has been the attempt to reconcile three entities with the idea of one God . yet the concept is a simple one to understand when religious dogma has been cleared away. there is only God, Divine Mind. To understand creation, we regard this one Divine Mind as acting in three ways or phases. Father designates the phase which knows and thinks. It is the phase which activates creation by thinking ideas to be created , and so instructs. Son designates an idea of creation. Whether or not it be manifested already according to the image is not the criterion of creation, for it is in reality created once the Father so decides; the manifesting necessarily follows. Spirit designates the phase of action which manifests the creation. This is effected by Itself becoming and functioning as the manifestation. The brief explanation; the mind creates by Idea-ting, and Itself manifesting as, the creation. Thus God, Divine Mind, is one; which seems to function as three phases: Father, Son and Spirit. Jesus rightfully may be considered as a Son, since he manifested the divine idea of the species of man. but he is not the only son, for Son means a spiritual idea. Every man and woman becomes a son as he or she expresses the divine idea. Son is a term designating a general pattern of characteristics. An Individual is one distinct manifestation which has the general characteristicscontained in the Idea, but also personal characteristics . The analogy in brief, retaining the trinity designations, is: Father,thinker;Son,idea;and Spirit, manifesting agent.
