The House Judiciarys action to extend the moratorium on Internet access taxes is a positive development. However, Im disappointed that we missed an opportunity to address e-fairness and help our Main Street businesses by voting on the Marketplace Fairness Act. Moving forward, Im going to continue working on passing a bipartisan bill that helps Washington states Main Street businesses compete on a level playing field with out-of-state e-tailers.
