The House is nowhere near in play. Not even an issue. However, if Mrs. Clinton runs, she will win a large victory and will have coattails that will, in 2016 return a Democratic House, for what it is worth. However, Dems had better damned well finally begin to take mid-term elections seriously, which I doubt they will, because they never have. Obama won the Florida district that Sink lost by 1% in 2012. If Dems had an equivalent effort to get their vote out last Tuesday, Sink had a real chance to win. I saw the turn out stats....something on the order of 150,000 fewer people showed up to vote in that district this passed Tuesday than showed up on election day 2012. Difference....In 2012, they spent the money and sent the people door to door to schlep people to the voting booth. If they want the congress in off years, they need to make an equivalent commitment. Otherwise all they are voting for is someone to veto the worst crap the GOP does during a Dem president’s term. They have the money and they have the people. They just don’t do it. Furthermore, Dems should have been sending their own people to right wing town halls for the last 2 years, giving as good as they got in ’09 and ’10. Idiot swing voters, independents, and “moderates” need to see angry constituents on tv in order to feel something is wrong. If I knew Dems were done for in 2010 way back in March 2009 because of those brownshirts chasing Dem (and the last few normal Rebuplicans!) out of their own town halls day after day, then Dems, and their party leader, President Obama, should have known it too ! They still don’t know it. And at this point, they either don’t want to win “off year” elections, or are still too dumb to know how !
