The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, was a very memorable film for me, especially when we go back to the nostalgia that once was the first movie. There were hardly any plot holes, the cast performed absolutely brilliant. There were a few lines of dialogue where I kinda had my head turned in disgust because of some of the acting, but Katniss Everdeen played by Jennifer Lawrence and Peeta Mellark played by Josh Hutcherson played the part wonderfully to make up for some of the stale lines. I loved how Haymitch Abanerthy played by Woody Harrelson was able to have more of a role in the storys driven plot that was the destruction of the hunger games. President Snow played by Donald Sutherland the antagonist of the show is an evil dictator of the Capitol Panem. Where he tries to quiet Katniss and the remaining Districts that use her as a symbol for the revolution. In order for President Snow to not make the same mistake of keeping both tributes into the games, he hires another game maker, known as Plutarch Heavensbee, played by Philip Seymour Hoffman to be replaced by Seneca Crane whom he killed. The rebellion try to prove, that Katniss can bring the Districts together and out of oppression, by helping her to become the MockinJay, While becoming this symbol, they uses this to save her family and friends. This movie was very interesting especially when it comes to the adaptation of the book. I have given it high praise we have replaced the director for the sequel who knows how to establish shots with cinematography very well. The last thing I complained about in the last movie even though it was really good was the Cinematography and you will understand why I hate Shakey-Cam so much! But nonetheless great visuals, great writing great film. I honor the tributes and give this film. 8.3/10
