The Illawarra Forum coordinates the Tenant Participation Resource - TopicsExpress

The Illawarra Forum coordinates the Tenant Participation Resource Service (TPRS) for the Illawarra and Sth East regions. The aim of TPRS is to provide a support service to Social Housing Tenants, Applicants and Youth at Risk of Homelessness. TPRS last week ran a Safe Food Handling Course for Tenants in the Shoalhaven. Participants included tenants from HNSW, Southern Cross Community Housing and John Purcell House. Participants learnt some basics regarding safe food handling which will help them when preparing food for community events. The Certificate of Attainment will also help in their job search endeavors. If you identify a need for training in your area that would benefit social housing tenants please contact the TPRS office.
