This explosive growth can be attributed to an educational agreement brokered between former U.S. president George Bush and Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in 2005 [1]. The agreement opened the doors for Saudi students to pursue their higher educational degrees in the U.S. with their government paying all of their educational expenses. As a result over 100,000 Saudi students were enrolled in American colleges and universities in 2013-14, making Saudi Arabia the fourth largest sponsor of international students to the U.S.
