The Impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming,another steppeth down before me.(John 5 vs 7). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today. Todays Focal Scripture reveals that the sick man at the Pool of Bethesda made several efforts to step into the pool by himself,but each time he tried,someone else got there before him. So,he made efforts but his efforts came to nothing. His efforts got him no results. His efforts were fruitless. He was counted among those who tried but didnt succeed;he was counted among those who worked hard but had nothing to show for the hard work. Notice that when Jesus came, without even the man trying again, he received his miracle. It was little labour and so much favour. Friend,hear Gods Word: the cycle of fruitless efforts is broken in your life. Every manipulation that is making your efforts amount to nothing has been broken in Jesus name! You shall no more be known for fruitless efforts in Jesus name! As a new working week begins, hear the Word of the Lord: The efforts you have put in to better your lot in life will not end in vain. Your efforts to raise godly children will not be a waste of time. Your hardwork will not fail to yield achievements. You wont sow and lose your harvest. Henceforth, your efforts shall bring uncommon results; your prayers shall bring answers. Every effort you have made to become a better person will yield results. Isaiah 65 vs 23 affirms this beautifully, it says, They shall not labour in vain,nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD,and their offspring with them. Your seeds shall attract a heavy harvest! Your labour shall not be in vain!!
