The Infantry Center Chapel, commonly called the TIC Chapel, on Fort Bennings Main Post, was dedicated in November 1934. The chapel was modeled after the Bull Street Presbyterian Church in Savannah. TIC Chapel was originally called Three faiths Chapel and was home to Protestant, Catholic and Jewish services. In 1944 it was listed in Ripleys Believe it Or Not because it served five denominations. TIC Chapel has always been a popular place for wedding, but in the 1950s, it saw 15 wedding a month or, on average, four weddings every week.
