The Insurance company DOES NOT care about YOU PERIOD. They care about the bottom line, they are not making choices about the risks. The adjusters are looking to save money for the client the insurance company not YOU THE INSURED. We see this more now than ever its about money, not safety or callbacks. We now often see smaller local instate insurance companies, with little experience in what is required to render these scenes safe. Having little knowledge forces some companies to do substandard work or, others to bill a family or business for what they will not cover. This is an unfortunate situation because these unsavory acts of non payment are not what the policy holders should be forced into. These folks have paid top dollar for insurance and now are thrown under the bus when it comes to payment. Are cleaning companies the ones that should work for what an insurance company wants to pay? Its NOT A CRIME TO MAKE A PROFIT, and this is an unregulated industry for the most part. If Joe Smith Cleaning company wants to charge cheep money to clean up bio hazards thats fine. If the only reason he is hired is because of price thats fine also. My question is how long will he be in business.? How long before he misses some contamination and is in court because of substandard practices ? At the end of the day YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR EVERY TIME.
