The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades – DC 9, representing 10,000 trades men and women, has endorsed the re-election of State Senator Marty Golden. Union spokesman Jack Kittle described Senator Golden as a supporter of the union’s efforts as far back as his first election to the City Council. “We know Marty and he knows us. It is important that his work on behalf of New York’s working men and women continue with his re-election to the Senate,” said Kittle. “I have enjoyed the support of DC 9 since my first election to the City Council and in every election since,” said Golden. “These hardworking men and women are key in keeping new construction a central element to growing our economy. I look forward to continuing my work with them upon returning to the Senate.”
