The Interstellar early viewer pre-access generated a lot of buzz and critics are saying this is an indicator that the film will be a hit. I am wary however, because sometimes trailers tend to appeal more to the action-oriented or the eye-candy oriented viewer, rather than the intellectual viewers. And I believe Interstellar to be an intellectually-oriented film. I believe those who attended the pre-release sneak preview are intellectual critics, and not average movie-goers. Case in point. If the Kubrick classic, 2001: A Space Odyssey (originally first shown in 1968) were to be shown FIRST TIME in 2014, then THIS is how Hollywood will show the trailer (and this is the actual trailer from the 2014 Theatrical Re-release)... https://youtube/watch?v=XHjIqQBsPjk If you havent seen 2001, then this trailer might lead you to believe its an action movie, when its clearly not, even if it does indeed have a lot of action.
