The Islands in Thailand part 2 The boat trip around the island - TopicsExpress

The Islands in Thailand part 2 The boat trip around the island was good fun and I managed to see some tropical fish very close. Its just like being in a tropical fish tank of gigantic proportions. Next day I took theboat to Koh (island) Pa Ngan a.k.a. Full Moon Party Island. In fact there are a few more parties than just on full moon. This place has some nice beaches to and in between parties it is quieter than Koh Samui, just next door or about one and a half hours by boat. The Nomad Guest house is a hostel charging £7.00 per night and plenty of fun to go with it. The manager invited me to join everybody else to go around watch the sun set at the Amsterdam cafe. Well, the name says it all and it has an infinity pool apart from being very liberal with the substancies comsumed on the premisses. It also serves some mushroom dish that is not for everyones taste... The setting though is terrific and the sunset magical. Back at the hostel someone had the bright idea of doing a drinking game: two teams each at the end of a table. A number of plastic glasses matching the number of people on that team plus one. Each glass contais a third of drink in this case beer. The extra glass is full of a cocktail. Team 1 thows a ping pong ball and tries to put it in any of the glasses of team 2. If it succeeds, one of the members of that team drinks it. This goes on until allthe drinks are consumed and the last one drinks all the contents of the cocktail glass as well. After this finished, a girl (from Manchester) challanged a Frenchman for a contest to see who woud drink the most. After six larg shots each, he went streight to bed and she passed out right there. During the night, he peed on the top bed. The German guy on the bottom bed wast very pleased. The staff moved the French guy to another place. Later on the German guy has another drunk peeing on the same bed with the German guy really p...d off witht he whole thing. This timethey put the German guy in a private room, compliments of the management. Fortunately my room was quiet and no incidents there. Time to leave and this time Im heading south, to Malasya.
