Yesterday we had a little taste of spring with temperatures in the 50s and a hint of green in the grass that has shed its white covering! Today iit is winter again, with icy winds and blowing snow. How very like life this is! We think our troubles are past, only to be beset with more coming at us. It is just the world we live in and will always be this way--even though deep within us we hear a whisper that someday well get to that wonderful place where all troubles are over, and we can finally really enjoy every minute! I think that whisper is the Holy Spirit encouraging us to keep on--Heaven is there, and we will make it through! Enjoy the good things, endure the troubles and keep smiling! Jesus has over come the world. And with His help, so will we! Shirley Amendt 3/18/14
