The Junior Auxiliary of Russellville recently held its annual Provisional social to honor the 2014-2015 class of provisional members at the home of Renee Fronabarger. This social serves as the official introduction of the provisional members to Life, Associate, and chapter members. New members join Junior Auxiliary after making a commitment to provide 72 hours of community service per year for five years. During the first year, provisional members select a class project to complete by December while learning about the history, purpose and activities of the organization. The 2014-2015 provisional members are Rachel Storment, Brooke Shamblen, Aimee Dixon, Robin Ballard, Christy Bartlett, Brandie Griffin, Brittany Herring, Ashley Peters, Andrea Pitts, Katie Hall, Bethany Swindell, Melissa Storm, Rebecca Sanders, Bailey Cox, Jennifer Chronister and Elizabeth Reahm. Junior Auxiliary is a national non-profit organization that empowers women to be active and constructive community participants. Members render charitable services which benefit the general public with particular emphasis on children.
