The Kansas Insurance Department will conduct public health insurance informational meetings at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at the WSU Hughes Metropolitan Complex, 5015 East. 29th Street North, Wichita. The meetings are part of a series of statewide presentations in September and October to help people understand about health insurance changes coming to Kansas. The meetings will last approximately two hours. Handouts with additional information will be available. Sandy Praeger, Commissioner of Insurance, and/or Linda Sheppard, the KID health policy director and special counsel, will conduct the meetings. No signup or registration is required. Those who need ADA accommodations should contact the Kansas Insurance Department no later than five days prior to the meetings.
