The Miller family has some pretty big news. I have accepted my dream job of teaching music at a private school in Bend, OR! This has all happened incredibly quickly, and God has been in even the tiniest detail, so we know this is all from Him. Now, the details. School starts on September 3rd in Oregon, so Ive got to get there QUICKLY. Ill be leaving OK for OR on Wednesday of next week with just my little Carmen and driving the 30 hour trip. I have a beautiful cottage secured by a wonderful friend to rent that will be a perfect fit for my little one and I, while Kevin will remain behind with the big 4 as he searches for a job in OR. The kids will start school here today. Our house is on the market as of today! (anyone need a 5 bedroom on an acre in the country???) PLEASE pray that God in His Almighty power will move mountains for Kevin to get the job that is just perfect for him. We are completely trusting that he will find something QUICKLY so that our family can be together as soon as possible. Please also pray that my journey west is a safe one - its been a LONG time since Ive driven that far, and alone, too. Obviously, we are very overwhelmed...excited, nervous, anxious, sad to leave our home of nearly 10 years, life is crazy-town right now. But there is an underlying peace that this is totally the right thing to do. We covet your prayers...none too small - we need them by the buckets-full. xoxo
