The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has issued the following Traffic Impact Report for July 26 through August 1. The expected traffic impacts are listed below. All work is subject to change. I-65 · The northbound ramps at exit 58 (Horse Cave) will have shoulder closures that reduce the lane width down to 12 feet as crews construct the widening in these areas. · Rolling road blocks from mile marker 52 to mile marker 59 for blasting operations will take place sometime between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Barren County · KY 70/KY 90- Construction crews will be installing rock, pavement, guardrail, curb and sidewalks between the CSX bridge and I-65. Flaggers will be present. · KY 90- (Between Adam McCreary Road and Ky. 839) – Earthwork operations will continue. Expect an increase in construction traffic and intermittent flagging operations. Traffic will be switched to a temporary traffic diversion between Golden Pond and Witty Rd. Motorists should be aware that the speed limit has been reduced through the construction zone. · Outer Loop- Lane closures remain in place for both directions on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway between mile marker 8 through mile marker 10. Lane restrictions in eastbound direction of the Louie B. Nunn Parkway. Contractors will still have construction traffic entering and leaving the parkway and Ky. 1297 throughout the week.
