The Kentucky Transportation Cabiney has issued the following Traffic Impact Report for June 23-28. All work is weather permitting and are subject to change. I-65 · The northbound ramps at exit 58 (Horse Cave) will have shoulder closures that reduce the lane width down to 12 feet as crews construct the widening in these areas. · Rolling road blocks from mile marker 52 to mile marker 59 for blasting operations will take place sometime between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Barren County · KY 70/KY 90- Trucks will be entering and exiting the roadway in Cave City because of earthwork between the CSX bridge and I-65. · KY 90- (Between Adam McCreary Rd and KY 839) – Earthwork operations will continue. Expect an increase in construction traffic and intermittent flagging operations. · Outer Loop- Lane closures remain in place for both directions on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway between mile marker 8 through mile marker 10. Lane restrictions in east bound direction of the Louie B. Nunn Parkway. Contractors will still have construction traffic entering and leaving the parkway and Ky. 1297 throughout the week. Crews will be flagging traffic on the parkway around mile marker 9 for equipment crossings from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Both lanes of travel should be prepared to stop. · US 68/ KY 255 – Flaggers will be present as crews will be installing pipe, drainage structures and paving at the intersection in Bon Ayr. This work will resume on Tuesday. · KY 740 – Scotty’s Contracting will be resurfacing Hiseville Park Rd. between Ky. 70 and the Hart County line. Motorists are urged to drive with caution through the construction zone. Flaggers will be present. · KY 1318 – Scotty’s Contracting will be resurfacing South Lucas Rd. between South Lucas Road to Old Narrows Rd. Motorists are urged to drive with caution through the construction zone. Flaggers will be present. · KY2131 – Scotty’s Contracting will be resurfacing Coral Hill Halfway Road from Ky. 740 to Ky. 70. Motorists are urged to drive with caution through the construction zone. Flaggers will be present.
