The Kookaburras sealed their place in the final of the Sultan - TopicsExpress

The Kookaburras sealed their place in the final of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup on Thursday evening with a 5-1 win over Korea. Liam De Young made his 300th appearance for Australia while his fellow Queenslander Jake Whetton notched up match number 50 for the Kookaburras. Victory was assured thanks to goals from Trent Mitton, Nick Budgeon, Jeremy Hayward and a late double from the returning Matt Gohdes, but there was also a sting in the tail for the Kookaburras who lost five-times World Player of the Year Jamie Dwyer to what looked like a hamstring injury midway through the second period.
