The Kuemper Foundation announced this morning that the Kuemper Tomorrow campaign has reached its Celebration Goal of $4.63 million. Total pledges stand at $4,641,895. With this achievement, upgrades in the school’s technology network and infrastructure have already been completed in all four school centers. New wiring, servers, firewalls, and network equipment has resulted in increased speed and productivity as the school began its 1:1 initiative enabling students to have wider access to digital learning devices. The new before and after school program, KuemperCares, also began last fall as a result of dollars raised during the campaign. Other campaign projects to be accomplished in the summer of 2015 include upgrading security in all four attendance centers and renovating the high school’s chapel and science laboratories. Reconfiguring the front entrance to Kuemper High School and constructing a new multi-purpose, co-ed Kuemper Fieldhouse for student-athletes is scheduled for 2016. Strengthening the Teacher Salary Enhancement Fund and the Fr. Kuemper Tuition Assistance Endowment Fund will also be accomplished by the Kuemper Tomorrow campaign.
