The Lab-chow mix was born in 2002 with only three legs, rejected and almost killed by its mother. Jude Springfellow, an English professor, rescued the dog and even though one of its three legs was amputated and doctors suggested putting it to sleep, she took it in. Her family managed to help Faith (appropriate, isn’t it?) learn to walk using peanut butter as a motivation. Jude and Faith have toured the country and made dozens of appearances including stops at veteran’s hospitals to lift up the spirit of wounded soldiers. Faith’s life story is a testament how you should never lose…faith.
