The Ladys Flight by TA ღ JustAnotherPrincess ღ The air was cold and misty and the stars were shining brightly in the sky above, though were barely visible to the human eye. To anybody else the forest would seem a dark and dangerous place, but to her it was a safe haven. On any night except tonight. Running at full speed through the forest to get away from her pursuer, she could hear him catching up to her with each step, every time her hem got caught on another branch, or her hair got stuck in the leaves of the trees. Her breathing had become uneven and jagged, she wasnt used to running especially not in such finery. As she ran there was only one thing she thought of, and one thing she clung on to that was more precious than her life. In her hands she was carrying a small package covered in purple silk, decorated with silver around the outside. In the middle there was some sort of Bronze crest or coat of arms embroidered onto it. Suddenly a pain so fierce she felt as though she may stop to breathe pierced her side. Her next step was clumsy, causing her foot to lodge under a tree root and fall into a round clearing in the middle of the forest. The object she had been carrying slipped from her grasp, there was no way she was getting away now. Knowing this she forced herself to form another plan. Searching the enclosure she spotted something, a hollow tree. Summoning all her strength she grabbed the silk covered parcel and placed it in the base of the tree just in time for him to enter the clearing with a grave look upon his dark face. Hello Helena.
