The Lagos state PDP governorship candidate, Mr Jimi Agbaje has this to say South-south can collapse economy if Jonathan loses presidential election.......... Is this the man that wants to govern Lagos state? Well, I know Lagosians are too smart to be down played. Does he think that only crude oil is the hope for the survival of this nation?? I think we need to enlighten Mr Agbaje perhaps he does not know much about the history of his countrys economy. Agriculture was the hope of Nigerias economy before the discovery of crude oil and the economy was doing fine. Then the govt was committed, responsible, visionary and credible unlike what the govt has turned to today as a result of oil discovery. Moreover, are there no countries without crude oil whose economies are better of Nigeria, the fifth largest producer of oil in the world???.
