The Lakota Sewing Circle is for the community. It was a goal of mine to bring people together to learn, from each other, how to sew. We have a variety skill levels of sewers. You can bring your own machine, materials and sewing notions and work on your projects OR you can use one of our machines and choose from the fabric we do have to start with. Everyone who is apart of the group helps each other to learn and make progress. There is no fee and no one gets paid to do this. This is a community endeavor. There is no age limit. We currently have teenagers who are active in our group and we encourage younger people to come and learn. We are located at the Oyate Center in Lakota Homes and meet every other Saturday. Our next meet is Saturday, January 24th from 11am to 2pm. If you have any questions please message me (Lisa Iron Cloud) or give me a call or shoot me a text at 605-209-4339. Pilamiya
