The Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Incorporated Fall 2013 Emergency Scholarship is meant to assist 2 students at the University of California, Berkeley in urgent need of financial assistance. We invite all womyn and men currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley to apply for our Emergency Scholarship. We understand the severity of several unexpected situations that may cause financial stress and we hope to take some stress off of 2 students in our community through 2 scholarships of $250 each. The Emergency Scholarship Application is due Sunday, November 24th at 9pm Recipient will be notified Wednesday, November 27th by 9am and paid immediately following notification As an organization founded on academic excellence and the principles of Unity, Love and Respect, we intend to uphold these principles by assisting our community and reaching out to students in urgent need. **Any material shared in this scholarship application will be kept extremely confidential. **Our sisters will not be aware of the names of the applicants as we read through application until we make the final decision of the recipient, in order to maintain confidentiality.
