The Lampkin-Hughes Oratorical Contest is an annual program created - TopicsExpress

The Lampkin-Hughes Oratorical Contest is an annual program created by the Mu Xi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., to foster the powerful art of the orator and his/her skill in debate and prose. Named in honor of Brothers Keith D. Lampkin and Cresean Hughes, who as undergraduates saw the need to not only create a program that would enhance the skill of speaking but also to inspire scores of students. This year the program is done in conjunction with the Southern Miss Black History Month celebration at The University of Southern Mississippi. Of all of my undergraduate days, chairing this program will always be one of my fondest memories. To any undergraduate student at Southern Miss that may be interested in this spectacular event, please contact Brother Jaylen Hackett! Keep exceeding the expectation! #smttt #bhmttt
