The Leaving Cert didnt work out for me first time around, and instead of staying idle I decided to go to Moate and do the FETAC LEVEL 5 Media Studies course. I didnt really think of Moate before I did the Leaving Cert because it was so close to me and I forgot that it was there! After I attended, it soon became apparent that it was the best thing I could have done! The tutors are extremely helpful, I got the chance to repeat my Maths from within the college itself, I won a place in the Leonardo Project and got to gain work placement in Lisbon, Portugal for 3 weeks. There I met some wonderful and kind people and experienced the city through the eyes of both a student and a worker! If anything, Moate Business College opened my opportunities and my mind into what I wanted to do in the future. Now I have a Distinction grade FETAC LEVEL 5 Degree under my belt and I am continuing on my education in Media!
