The Liberty Hill girls cross country teams season came to an end on Saturday at the UIL State Meet at Old Settlers Park. Although the team didnt finish where they would have liked, they still placed fourth with 128 points. Dalhart finished with 128 points as well, but edged the Lady Panthers because of a sixth-runner tiebreaker. Danielle Rimann was Liberty Hills top runner and placed 8th individually to receive a medal with a time of 12 minutes and 11 seconds. The Bandera cross country team won the 4A Girls state title with 90 points. Bandera was the team Liberty Hill beat in the Regionals by seven points last week to win the Regional Championship.
