The Life Inside My Head By: Yasmin Zahran Growing up, An idea went in, An idea went out, Some hid, Some sunk deep down. Thoughts confusing, Sometimes deceiving, Some got me believing, Some got me reading! Events that left a mark, Happy ones that remained, Others I tried to forget, all the same. Dreams like stars, That always stayed up-high. Others I reached, With the tip of my fingers, Others still remain mine. Beliefs I live and lived for, Virtues I kept. Opinions I sought, Others, I sat down and wept. Things I refused, Decisions I regret, I live not knowing what lies in the distance, But this is the life inside my head.
