The Long Well Walk started with one mans mission to walk from Sheffield, England to Cape Town, South Africa, in order to raise money and awareness for water and sanitation projects across Africa. In March 2014, Liam set off from Sheffield on the record breaking 11,000 mile walk and in September he completed the European leg in Sicily. Unfortunately, due to the on going conflict in Northern Africa, the second stage of the walk was deemed too dangerous and Liam was forced to return to the U.K. Whilst waiting to begin the second stage of the walk, Liam has returned with the mission of funding our most ambitious project yet: to bring clean water and sanitation to children in conflict stricken South Sudan.
