The Lord is Always Faithful SCRIPTURE: Psalm 89:30-33 If his sons forsake my law and do not walk in my judgements; If they violate My statutes, and do not keep my commandments, then I will visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquities with stripe. BUT I will not break off my lovingkindness from him, nor deal falsely in my faithfulness. Observation: In this life I can be secure in where I am going and who I am because I know that God will be faithful to me. His rod will comfort me and He will discipline me appropriately. I dont have to worry about ruining my life because His lovingkindness and faithfulness will not depart from me even when He is disciplining me. Wow! I never thought I would be comforted by being disciplined! Application: Yield my heart to God and receive His loving rebuke when I am wrong. It is His rebuke that keeps me pressing forward in this life with humility, knowing that I am being shaped into His image. I can proceed forward in this life knowing that my Father loves me and will not forsake me. Prayer: Father, forgive me for my sins. I welcome Your correction in my life and see it as Your lovingkindness towards me, Help me to love others more. Help me to hear Your heart more. Give me discipline so that I can be more like You in every way, I love You and am so thankful for You in my life. Amen.
