While many of the youth of today consider this to be an entitlement that the seniors do not deserve, the AARP summed this up very well so I stole it from them. This country was founded on the principle that if you want something, you have to work for it. We were promised that, if we work hard, and contribute throughout our work lives to Social Security and Medicare, we can retire and not have to worry about where our next meal is coming from or if we can afford to see the doctor. Interesting how attitudes have changed.
