The Lord really struck me when He said this through Ensley... Its one thing to share your testimony in front of a crowd and be glorified and receive the hand claps afterwards, but none of that means a thing until youve written out your testimony to God. Of course He knows and sees all, but when you write out and speak out that testimony to Him, you are ridding yourself of everything from your past. You are laying it ALL out before God and showing Him that Youre broken and you need Him. That weight gets lifted because you confess of everything that the enemy has ever tried to use against you. Once you come to God with everything that has happened and how he has delivered you, the enemy has no way to come against you; he has no evidence to use to hurt you because youve confessed it all and the Lord in all of His sovereignty has delivered you from that. When we become new in Him and lay it all out before Him, we are made pure. Our past no longer exists and that is whats so amazing about God. Just as she challenged us, I challenge you all if you havent, to write out and speak your testimony to God, about how He has seen you through and what He has brought you from...EVERY little detail of the biggest and smallest stories...tell that to Him. There is nothing like sharing with the Lord what He has brought you through, kept you from, and what He is doing and will do. He releases those burdens and not only are we forgiven, but we are also able to forgive everyone who may have affected us in the past. You will gain a much better understanding of how much He loves you and how much youre really worth to Him. (Just from my personal experience, tell your testimony to God before you share with others. Its something I wish I had done because He can reveal some things to you that you wouldve never come across and some parts of your testimony you may have forgotten...and it puts your heart in the right place.)
