The Louisiana State Museum received a $10,000 donation from Japanese musician Yoshio Toyoma to assist in creating the Louisiana Music Experience exhibition at The Old U.S. Mint. We are grateful for this generous donation that will allow us to continue to move toward creating a world-class jazz museum to preserve Americas only indigenous art form. The $5 million, 9,400-square-foot exhibit is scheduled to open in 2017.
