The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal has two student positions open: 1) A sports clerk, which would be good for someone just getting started. It is mostly taking calls, writing up box scores, doing briefs and roundups. It is about a 20-hour a week position. 2) A 20-hour reporting position for Frenship Today. This position would cover Frenship sports for us for our weekly and may help on calls like the clerk on other nights.
