The Man: he sneaked into the presidential palace and killed the president. His desire was to end a regime covered with unnecessary detentions, grand corruption, misappropriation of state funds and thick nepotism. He achieved his desire but when the government decided to go after him, he brought a great misfortune to the very people he thought he was representing, we are told that the government choose a straight line which is the shortest distance between two places. Everything on their path was flattened, from vegetation, wild animals, people and even anything domesticated. Upon reaching their destination the people were converged and ordered to produce the man, in the process they were forced to suffer for what they didnt understand, the government went as far as ordering them to eat wet cowdung. With numerous versions of torture rendering undesired outcome, the government chose a man because they could not continue delaying justice. He was the real man they were seeking, in front of a firing squad, he kept a steady face with a broad smile. No more people were gonna die or suffer for something he actually did. The story might not fit well with the situation at Eastleigh but when you dont talk of a neighbour terrorist living opposite your door when you fully understand his/her intentions, then you are no better than that terrorist. Sometimes the best way to control ticks is to burn the damn field, cattle will go without enough grazing place for awhile but they will thank you later. I support what is happening in Eastleigh not because it is the best, nor the only thing that can be done, but sometimes something has to be done. Next time a neighbour who suffered the consequences of his/her silence will not keep quiet.
