The Mana Academy is searching for new members for the Board of Directors! A prospective member of the Board of Directors must support the charter school concept and commit to uphold the Mana Academy charter, mission, philosophy and curriculum. He or she should be available to attend regularly schedule board meetings every third Wednesday evening of each month and other meetings as necessary, acquire an understanding of the issues that affect the school, attend committees assigned to him/her, and represent Mana Academy in a professional manner at all times. The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm, the ability to problem solve and work cohesively in a group, understand state of Utah codes and regulations, positive attitude, intuitive, creative, and conduct his/herself professionally at all times. This is a BIG MUST. We need doers, people who contribute, not people who are interested in this position because they like to be seen. The term of service is 3 (three) years. This is a volunteer position and there is no compensation.
