We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent for a major underground project in Vietnam. The project is located approximately 180km west of Hanoi, the roster is 28 days on, 14 days off, FIFO from any Australian capital city. This role is an immediate start in mid-January. The skills set required by the applicant is to have extensive experienced in the maintenance and back up support for Caterpillar 1700G Boggers with remotes, AD30 trucks, Cat ITs, M2Ds and H104 Atlas Copco Jumbos. Also you will need to require the ability to manage electrical and pumping for the underground mine. We use the Pronto Maintenance Management Module for all maintenance scheduling and work orders and sound Pronto experience and knowledge is essential. Key to the success of this role is an active Maintenance Superintendent who doesnt mind being hands on when needed, performing fault finding and diagnostics as required and excellent leadership and people management skills in assisting the national Vietnamese workforce development their skills. This is a dynamic role that requires a highly experienced underground Maintenance Superintendent. You will be responsible for all mechanical and electrical planning and technical support for the project and lead a small, dedicated crew of expat workshop personnel whos primary role is to train the national workforce and to meet the operational requirements of the project in terms of all maintenance and safety KPIs. You will also play a key role in maintaining the strong working relationships with other departments within Mancala, our client, suppliers, importation, demobilisation and subcontractors.
